    The Project Manager will oversee all stages of project delivery for both client and internal projects. The role is crucial to successful onboarding and implementation projects through working and liaising with internal and external stakeholders and project teams to ensure success. The Project manager is to ensure that new projects are well planned, coordinated, follow our governance process and are delivered in a professional manner to schedule and budget.

    The Project Manager must be able to take responsibility to ensure timely decisions are made to keep projects on track and rigour is applied to change requests. They must rapidly gain a strong understanding of relevant processes and related activities and be able to reliably report on progress, issues and risks. Ability to communicate effectively with project sponsors, stakeholders and internal teams is essential.

    Key Duties And Responsibilities:

    • Oversee end to end project delivery whilst managing the FundsLibrary three tier project governance structure, including ensuring effective Project Meeting and Steering Committee meetings
    • Manage and build good working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders at all levels, co-operation to ensure deadlines are met
    • Working across functions of the company to meet project objectives, including Business Analysts, Developers, Testers, Risk, Service Operations, Sales, etc.
    • Maintain communication throughout a project’s lifecycle in a consistent manner, with regular reporting to Project Sponsors and Stakeholders, as well as coordinating regular status updates with the project team
    • Work with members of the project team and key stakeholders to apply rigour around change requests
    • Manage a project plan using a tool to track resource allocation, critical paths, lead times, milestones, progress and time& effort to completion. Ensuring that timescales specified are realistic and that expectations are managed and appropriate prioritisation results
    • Coordinate the allocation of resource to deliver projects
    • Understand the implications of each project and ensure that risks and issues are monitored throughout, in particular timely escalations and proactive actions to meet objectives.

    Essential experience:

    • Educated to AS / A Level (or equivalent)
    • University degree 2:1 or above or relevant professional qualifications
    • Ability to use MS Office products such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
    • Knowledge of software for use in project lifecycles, e.g. JIRA, MS Project
    • 3-5 years as a Project Manager with experience implementing projects in B2B environments in industry or as a management consultant, particularly systems development

    We are looking for someone with technical skills (particularly around the Microsoft devops/Azure stack), industry experience and an appreciation of best practice within the field of configuration, release and reliability management.   The ideal candidate will be a proactive evangelist for devops excellence, be a versatile problem solver (including taking a share in building and monitoring the health of services) and be able to step back to consider the bigger picture – working with other stakeholders like QA and InfoSec to ensure what FundsLibrary develops and deploys to the cloud is of sufficient quality, security and consistency and playing a role in continually reviewing and improving the SDLC towards that end.

    Key duties and responsibilities:

    • Assuming ownership for all matters relating to governance and the configuration of our hosting environments (Azure) through processes, template provisioning, pipeline deploys and scripted automation (Azure DevOps/ARM/Powershell)
    • Playing a key role in safeguarding the quality, availability, scalability, resiliency and performance of Fundslibrary cloud services via:
      • Automating the provisioning/release management steps
      • Ensuring the relevant quality gates are in place
      • Managing the release process (including performing proactive monitoring thereof)
    • Giving some oversight to the release management process for legacy on-premise solutions including making improvements to this whilst these are still used during our transition

    What we are looking for:

    Essential:
