Winners of the FundsLibrary Values Awards for 2018

We were delighted to be able to recognise the hard work and excellent team approach of several of our employees by awarding them a FundsLibrary Values Award at the December Company Update meeting. The winners had been nominated by their peers as having contributed significantly over the course of the year to the company’s success, as well as having fully embraced the company’s core values.

Each one of the winners has demonstrated what it means to deliver professional, high quality service with passion and drive and we wish them many congratulations! Keep up the good work!

Employee of the Year – George Hancock (Regulatory Services)

George has picked up the complex regulations of Solvency II with ease, and has clearly articulated and communicated the service we provide to clients and third party vendors. His depth of knowledge about regulations has allowed him to speak and present with confidence and demonstrate his passion to clients. As well as, delivering a number of product enhancements for Solvency II, George has also developed his leadership skills to create a successful team.

Employee of the Year – Runner Up– Dickon Jackson (Development)

Dickon is efficient, commercially aware, and has excellent communication skills. He has implemented new concepts and provided innovative ideas, which have received positive feedback from clients. As well as, being hard-working and professional, he has demonstrated a commercial awareness in his approach. Approachable and always willing to help, he adds a great deal of value to his team and the business.

Employee of the Year – Runner Up – Joe Lear (Data Services)

Joe is prompt with resolving client queries and his attention to detail ensures that our data quality is consistently high. He always goes beyond what is asked of him and frequently adopts additional responsibilities.

New Starter of the Year – Nigel Fulcher (Development)

Since beginning his work with FundsLibrary in July this year, Nigel has engaged with cross team issues and provided fantastic support to the Developers. He thinks about solutions at a business level and has a keen eye for quality architecture.

All-Rounder of the Year – Dave Jones (Development)

Dave is dedicated to his role, ensuring that the business receives first class support. Dave has a can-do attitude, is always willing to help and does a thorough job ensuring the business delivers high quality products.

Team of the Year – Regulatory Solutions Team

This team demonstrated strong cross functional collaboration from Product Owner to Tester. They have delivered continuously, ensuring the following have been seamlessly deployed; Review Enrichment, TPT version 4, and SCR calculations with EY. The team is dedicated to improving the product for the benefit of the clients while at the same time reducing technical debt and improving performance.
